Section 5.7 Teacher Leave time and Absence

There are over 18 clearly defined reasons for teachers sick and personal days. Many individuals believe that personal days must be “requested.” The contract clearly states that the days “shall” be used for....no “request” needs to be made. The practice of “informing” administrations should be followed, however a formal request is not needed.
